Bazi (八字), also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny, is a 4,000-year-old Chinese metaphysical system that maps your birth date and time to elemental energies. Your Day Master — the Heavenly Stem of your Day Pillar — represents your core elemental identity.

DayMaster uses the traditional Chinese solar calendar (via the lunisolar library) to determine the Four Pillars (Year, Month, Day, Hour) of your birth. Each pillar consists of a Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch, mapping to the Five Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored securely in our cloud database with row-level security. We never sell, share, or use your data for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Go to Settings > Security > Delete Accountin the app. This permanently deletes your profile, charts, saved connections, and all associated data. If you can't access the app, see our account deletion page.

Bazi fortune readings are based on the interaction between your birth chart and the current day's elemental energy (flowing day / 流日). As the daily Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch change, they create different interactions with your Day Master — sometimes supportive, sometimes challenging.
